This 1924 Patton’s Sun Proof Paint brochure, manufactured by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, features 24 authentic historic exterior colors designed for long-lasting durability and color retention on residential exteriors.

Originally formulated as gloss finishes, these colors were intended to provide vibrant, weather-resistant protection for wood, siding, and trim, reflecting the early 1920s approach to exterior paint technology.

For modern application, the historic gloss colors are offered in semi-gloss or satin finishes, maintaining historical accuracy while allowing practical contemporary use.
