This 1947 Pittsburgh Paints catalog features Wallhide Flat Wall Paint, a flat finish interior paint offered in 13 soft, muted colors typical of the mid- to late-1940s. While not considered historically “restoration” colors, these shades reflect the cool, pastel tones popular at the time, including Pastel Green, Light Ivory, Wedgwood Blue, Horizontal Blue, Silver Green, Maize Buff, French Beige, Blue Green, Dusky Rose, Cameo Peach, and Pastel Yellow.

Originally flat, these colors are offered in flat or eggshell, allowing for modern usability while maintaining the soft, period-appropriate palette.
